Some Remarks on Conceptual History of Mathematics

In this work, we consider one of the possible ways of studying History of Mathematics which, in our understanding should be primary of interest to the working mathematician and to the advanced student of mathematics. We illustrate these ideas with an example and briefly account on recent trends on institutional developments.
