UNA FILOSOFIA HISTORICA DE LAS MATEMÁTICAS EN COLLINS (1998)Abstract
Randall Collins destaca el carácter esencialmente social e histórico de las matemáticas. Su filosofía de las matemáticas adquiere un carácter muy peculiar que merece ser destacado. Se opone a un conjunto muy extenso de dicursos sobre el tema, apoyándose en un conjunto muy amplio de investigaciones históricas recientes, y plantea hipótesis nada ortodoxas que vale la pena considerar.
